Get your gardening gloves ready for our next beautification day on Saturday, January 27th from 9am to 12pm. We will be planting vegetables and flowers in the school garden and filling the raised beds with compost (bring shovels and wheelbarrows, if you have them). If you are starting seeds for your own vegetable garden, please consider starting extras to bring to our big planting day. Contributions of succulent cuttings and drought-tolerant plants are welcome -- please make sure any plants are non-toxic and do not contain sharp tips or thorns.

The Garden & Beautification Committee is requesting donations of gardening supplies to help our students and volunteers cultivate and maintain the school garden. We are especially in need of kids gardening gloves, organic fertilizer and amendments, vegetable and flower seeds/starts, drought-tolerant perennials, and succulents (donated plants must be non-toxic and contain no thorns or sharp tips). Our complete wish list is here. Any contribution is appreciated!
