Dear 5th Grade Families,

It’s hard to believe that our students are starting their last year of elementary school! For some, it might feel like it’s been a long time coming, and for others it might feel like you blinked and found yourself here, either way, we’re all in this together.

​

Each year a group of adults who support 5th graders come together to form the 5th grade committee. This  committee is responsible for fundraising and planning exciting 5th grade activities and year end celebrations. With the participation of all 5th grade families, prior committees have been able to fund the promotion ceremony, reception, end of year field day, field trip, and more. 

 

Rather than scheduling many smaller fundraisers to reach our goal, we’re hoping to make one BIG ASK to start the year so that we can all do what we love most- spend time with our families! Would you help us reach our goal of $7,000? With our current number of enrolled 5th graders, we would need each family to donate $100 in order to reach our goal. If we get 100% participation, we won’t need to do other fundraisers this year! You heard that right, we won’t ask you to spend money each month on dine-outs, popsicle, candy, or beverage sales at other school events.
