Throughout the year, The NEST runs a variety of fundraisers to support the educational and enrichment needs of all Hickman Students. Here, you'll discover the various ways in which you can contribute to our efforts in raising essential funds to support educational initiatives, enhance resources, and create memorable experiences for our students.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our Hickman families and community partners, The NEST raised more than $70,000 last year to support our students and school. Your contributions helped fund field trips, art and music instruction, classroom resources, educational programs like Raz-Kids and Achieve3000, campus needs, and appreciation for our amazing teachers and staff.

This year, we're dreaming even bigger!

For 2026–27, we’ve set an ambitious goal of $100,000 - the most Hickman has ever raised in a single school year.
As San Diego Unified continues to face budget cuts, our community’s support is more important than ever. Every dollar we raise stays right here at Hickman, helping provide the programs, resources, enrichment, and experiences that make a difference for our Hawks.

There are so many ways to help throughout the year - from Super Pledge and the Fun Run to Book Fairs, Tasty Tuesdays, Hickman Hallows, family events, community partnerships, and more. Donate, participate, volunteer, shop, or simply spread the word - every contribution matters!
